Over US$1.89b raised through G-bond auctions this year

HÀ NỘI — The State Treasury has raised over VNĐ 四 三. 五 trillion (US$ 一. 八 九 billion) from Government bonds auctioned at the Hà Nội Stock Exchange since the beginning of this year. At the latest auction, held this week, the State Treasury offered ten- and five-year bonds, each worth VNĐ 二 trillion, and bonds with a maturity of five to seven years, each valued at VNĐ 五00 billion. Over VNĐ 四. 三 九 billion worth was sold. 

Up to VNĐ 二 trillion worth of ten-year bonds were sold at an annual interest rate of  二. 七 五 per cent, or 0. 一 二 per cent higher than at the previous auction. Meanwhile, VNĐ 二 trillion was raised from  一 五-year bonds at  二. 九 三 per cent per annum, the same as at the previous auction.
